Abstract

The article considers the problems of formation and development of regional ecosystems in terms of digitalization. It is noted that in the context of the complex socio-economic and political situation Russia faces today, the problem of ensuring the competitiveness of the national economy and the economies of the regions is of particular importance. One of the possible solutions to this difficult task is the development of regional ecosystems, which, in turn, involves an active use of digital technologies. The emergence and development of the digital economy has led to fundamental changes in the ways of doing business and organizing the daily life of the population. One of the main problems in the management of socio-ecological systems is the difficulty of accurately predicting possible trends in the development of the situation. Regional economic systems are changing much faster than models for predicting the situation development can be re-modeled and calculated. The most important factor in the development of innovative ecosystems at the meso level is the effective interaction of all actors in these processes: business, universities, research organizations, governing bodies. For many reasons, the processes of economic and technological development in Russia are largely determined by the participation of the state, which often acted not only as a coordinator, but also as an organizer of these processes. This forces the Russian state to regulate the process of digital development of ecosystems for a fairly long period of time.
