The Brexit referendum had an impact on the migration of Polish citizens from the European Union to the UK. Due to the fact that this phenomenon has been little studied in the Russian-speaking scientific community, the problem in this formulation is considered for the first time. The purpose of this study is to identify socio-economic factors in the context of Brexit that influenced the migration flow of Polish migrants to the UK. To study the problem, statistical data presented by both research institutes and government departments were analyzed. As a result of the study, the quantitative indicators of Polish citizens in the UK, among other migrants, were determined. The factors that influenced the dynamics of migration flows were considered, the decrease and increase in Polish migration to the UK in the period 2016–2020 was also calculated, and a comparative analysis of Polish and British statistical data was made. The results of the study open up a new theoretical direction in the study of the impact of the Brexit referendum on Polish migrants in the UK.
