Influence of the regional socio-economic system on the development of the university

In the context of the launch of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program for universities, modernization of models for the effective use of universities in territorial development, not only approaches to assessing the contribution of universities to the economy of the Russian Federation are important, but also methods of analyzing the impact of the regional socio-economic system on the performance of higher education organizations. The purpose of this study is to form a set of criteria that allow presenting the result of the influence of the regional socio-economic system on the performance indicators of the university. Based on statistical methods of analysis, educational, collaboration, social, economic effects of the impact of territorial characteristics on the performance of the university were determined (on the example of the Novgorod region and the Novgorod State University named after Yaroslav the Wise). The results of the research presented in the article can be used when adjusting a strategy for the socio-economic development of the Novgorod region, and also translated into the practice of strategic planning of Russian regions as the idea of "inclusion" of the regional management system in the development of higher education systems.
